Neckbreakerz log…7th of April 2012
It was time for SK8 or H8, it had been a week since we last spoke to the guys from Bencity and we worried whether Neckbreakerz would still be shooting at the event. With this being our first sports event and first indoor shoot we tried our best to be prepared as best possible.
We arrived at Revolution Skate Park (don’t even know what time) and at the desk our name was on the guest list so in we went in to find K who then explained what would happen for the day from there it was just us and quite a few Redbulls ”oh yes thanks to Redbull for keeping everybody going with the refreshments provided” so much movement so many people all over the show we found it hard to get around.
The free session was on and with a very entertaining Bencity emcee who kept the crowd going the bikers took to the half pipe for best trick which we still uncertain as to who won it…
The skate session was quite hectic as some guys felt that they were suppose to go through but at these kind of events the judge has the last say so round after round they finally got to the make where Andre took the skate session in pure skate style. At this point we had been waiting for the bikers to hit the park as they had been keeping us hyped the whole day.
3 groups of bikers and so the knockout yet gain had begun and it was heated oh boy,We couldn't even imagine ourselves doing some of the things these guys were doing but it made for great photos. We were very glad to here that Paul won with an awesome back-flip which had the crowd roaring.
Look-local made a turn at the event as well as a new clothing label Ubuntuism.
Just want to say thanks to Bencity for putting together an awesome event especially K for being such a good host, to Brad from Revolution Skate park for the venue and for hooking us up with a Butan hat.
You will be seeing us at more vent of this sort.
Peace,
ZacD & Allie , Neckbreakerz
