This week is OEM+ week.
OEM+ what does this mean.
OEM means original equipment manufacturer and is usually used in regards to parts for any brand of vehicle.
Usually used to differentiate the parts from aftermarket parts.
For example, an OEM steering wheel for a Volkswagen and a set OEM wheels for a General Motors vehicle.
These would be VW or GM branded parts.
Not always parts from the same stable of motor brand, but meaning you selected to use a "standard" wheel from a Fiat 500 and fit it onto an VW Mk1.
Kicking off this week will be an Volkswagen Scirocco .:R.
The Scirocco R is a production model based on the GT24.
Its 2.0 L TSI rated at 195 kW / 261 hp and 350 N·m, large air intake openings in the front bumper, an integrated front spoiler, bi-xenon headlights, larger rear roof edge spoiler, black diffuser, dual exhaust with chrome tailpipes, Talladega 19-inch alloy wheels as standard.
This one on hand how ever is a different story.
I met Rugs at a meet last week in Centurion and had a small chat about his car and whats been done to it, shortly after we exchanged some numbers and arranged for a shoot with the car.
Sunday came and after a few messages about where to meet up I left my house and headed to the meeting spot.
Met up with Rugs and followed him to the location that he had in mind for the shoot.
First it seemed that I am pushed for time with the sun, later turned out that it wasn't the case, as if the sun just paused for that brief few minutes till I finished the shoot.
With subtle mods done that might look like nothing to the average person walking past, the true modder would pick up the tinted headlight and H&R drop.
I believe the thing that sets this car apart and really ontop of the OEM+ game would be the 19" Bentley wheels.
With small touches like the black VW badges and black wrapped roof, it makes the car look more rounded off with also setting up more exposure towards the .:R badges in chrome finish.
Not much has been done with the car engine wise, Stage 1 software and de-cat.
More than enough to awaken the engine note.

Wicked! Love the photos!
