Now there is no actual point you can start at when trying to describe this A1 Caddy to anybody you know, I experienced this in person. I had followed Aldo's previous build of the same Caddy but never thought of it to be what people were saying it was, using big words like superbly built, practically perfect, international standard, showroom piece. I could go on about how people go into a frenzy when this car is mentioned.
Myself and Zac organized with Aldo to shoot the Caddy, with everything arranged we took a day off our everyday jobs and went to fetch Aldo's green beast. It was a sight that I couldn't not explain, feelings that I have never felt before, before me was a 1.9 G60 workhorse that just oozed awesome.
I took a quick look around the Caddy and to honest I couldn't spot a single imperfect detail except for the side view mirrors that were missing. I ran my fingers across the paint, I could see my reflection in it. Could the paint be this clean? Its a wet dream that's not supposed to exist but before me I had one kick ass combination of Simple, Functional and Clean!
Allister, Neck Breakerz
Sitting right, I could say this over and over again.
The wheels play an important factor in the complete Mona Lisa look of this Caddy as they sit pretty much perfect wrapped in just the right tyre, painted the right color and polished lips are the cherry on top.
Looking at it closely it doesn't strike you as fast in anyway, but its a wolf in sheep's clothing not just another pretty car but the very car you wont see for long if you were next to it at the traffic light.
Wood floor styled loading bin vanished and detailed, takes away what it was initially designed for but no one cars as it looks to good to hate.
This 1984 beauty wouldn't pass for vintage or for that fact modern
Wheel Whores sticker does his original set of wheels justice!
Now spraying the Caddy green was a bold move, and its not a preferred color by many but what we have here is a good idea and with all the small red detailing all round the Caddy just gives the green its own feel, it just brings it right out.
Now this is a really neat touch, old school seats remolded to what I wouldn't exactly describe as a bucket seats and neither comfortable. It looks so good who cares about the small functionality that's it plays as these
seats get in there and hug your body but then again with all that power under the hood, that is what you want!
