Motorfest 2012

On the 30th of June, Trade Route Shopping Center played host to Motorfest 2012 hosted by JHB Parties, as we all know that JHB Parties is coming up strong and their events are never disappointing.
Rizo Kan the man behind this awesome line up of events has something so good going for him that his events are always packed, besides the fact that he always has a new trick up his sleeve every time we attend an event and we all know for a fact this wont be his last time impressing us.

We attend Motorfest 2012 and we could only anticipate a great day ahead, as usual the morning always makes for a slow start but it quickly picked up with people streaming in by the dozens. There were wheels, sound, merchandise and even air brushing displays, not forgetting the great cars that were inside the venue perimeter.

All I can say is, Rizo we waiting for the next one!

Neck Breakerz go to Chilling for Charity

Who wouldn't help the the less fortunate, we all wish in our own special way that we could make someone else's life more comfortable and relaxing, something that that they dont experience everyday. It was just after the BMW vs VW weekend, that news got out that the guys from 4 Corners Entertainment and Showtime Fanatics were working on a Charity event.

People were nothing short of excited to do their bit for the less fortunate, and just like that people started spreading the word via any source of media available, and so many crews approached the organizers to incorporate on the Heap of Hope event. People from Showtime Fanatics, Eurohoodride, Cheese Living and JHB Parties just to mention a few all organized random pick ups of unwanted clothing, food, blankets, toys and the list goes on and on and on, you get the idea.

Zoo lake would be the venue for this good cause and believe me it made for the perfect setting, we arrived dropped off our goodies basically filling up two 1 tonner trucks courtesy of the Bozi Spinmasters, we then proceeded to chill for charity, and as usual a lot of new friends were made I haven't laughed that much in a while.

Just want to say a big thank you to 4 Corners and Showtime Fanatics for always being the ones to set the trend, you guys did a good deed and it wont be forgotten for a longtime to come!

Cant wait for the next event.

Ciao,
Allie, Neck Breakerz.

HoodRide Hookup!

You have a nice ride but you only drive it to work, people hardly see it besides for the average people in traffic which know nothing of modding. They think you must be blind because what you have done to your car has no appeal to the common man, I think that would sum up one hell of a good reason to get together with other people who share the same interests but where is always the question.

Who knows the first group of people to have just decided as friends to just squatter in a parking lot, make a few phone calls and just like that you would take a peak into a world where no normal person could ever fit into. A world where ideas come together, great friends are made and cars share the only thing in common that they are driven.

We attend a last minute Hookup, arranged by the man himself Mahesh Kalain of Eurohoodride. He had only his large fan base a cellphone and people that were dying to get together again for HoodRide style Hookup!
